Gervonta Davis has brutally knocked out Rolando Romero in the sixth round of their super lightweight title bout.
Gervonta Davis has won championships across multiple divisions in boxing. Ever since making his Pro Debut in 2013, he has tried himself in various divisions. He has won titles in those divisions as well: IBF Super Featherweight Champion in 2017, WBA Super Featherweight title in 2018, and win the WBA Super Lightweight Title in 2020.
As of May 2022, Davis is ranked as world’s tenth best active boxer, pound for pound, by the Boxing Writers Association of America. Davis will be taking on Rolando Romero on May 29th, 2022. This fight was announced that scheduled to held on December 5 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. But due to sexual allegations against him, Romero had to pull out.
But it seems that Romero’s luck was sealed beforehand. In the sixth round, Davis landed a brutal punch to put an end to the fight.

Following a sluggish start Gervonta Davis nailed Rolando Romero with a counter left in the sixth round of Saturday’s main event at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Prior to this knockout. Romero was undefeated inside the ring. After Romero, on weak legs, couldn’t beat the count, the referee stopped the bout.
