Kevin Holland has garnered a reputation for being one of the funniest fighters within the UFC. He added another highlight to his reel of jokes as trolls Tim Means by saying he” choked his chicken in public” following a submission victory over the veteran at UFC Austin.
On any UFC media day, you won’t find people as articulate and as humorous as UFC Welterweight contender Kevin Holland. “The Trailblazer” who is 2-0 ever since coming down to welterweight from middleweight wasn’t shy of pulling his shots as he picked up yet another finish. He was facing veteran Tim Means at Welterweight, and like many of his fights, Holland delivered an emphatic finish. The finish was enough to get him “Performance of The Night” bonus worth $50k.
Following his victory, he posted a picture on Twitter where he is seen choking a chicken mascot, with he caption: “Get paid an extra 50k to choke my chicken in public? Yessssir sign me up every time. #UFCAustin”

Holland was referring to his submission victory over Means, which where he picked up a finish with a rear-necked choke. He also mentioned it in his post-fight press conference. But despite the jokes, Holland also paid tribute to the veteran Means, and called him “An OG of the sport”.
The Trailblazer has somewhat turned a corner ever since he came down to Welterweight. With two straight wins under his belt, he has gathered some momentum. One of the most entertaining fighters on the roster, Holland called out fellow welterweight contender Sean Brady after the victory.
