Grayson Waller had recently tried to position himself as a future star in the main roster. Since making his SmackDown debut, Waller had involved in significant segments and matches. This includes a confrontation with John Cena at Money in the Bank 2023 and a segment with Edge on Waller effect.
Even Grayson Waller had impressed with WWE Universe with a hard-fought match against the Edge on the recent SmackDown. Even after an impressive performance, Waller had failed to secure victory in the match.
Grayson Waller hints at potential WrestleMania match vs The Rock
After already having interactions with legends like John Cena & Edge. It seems like Grayson Waller is heading towards potentially sharing the ring with none other than the People’s Champion The Rock. Waller had recently posted a video on his official Twitter account mentioning his Madison Square Garden debut. However, the Rock replied on the same mentioning how Waller’s MSG debut was generic and also trolled Waller’s debut in the World’s most famous arena.

In this, back & forth response, finally, Grayson invited The former WWE Champion to its own show ” Waller Effect”. However, it is highly unlikely that he will actually appear on the show due to Hollywood commitments. However, the company could make his appearance if he is free from his Hollywood projects which could eventually lead to a match for next year’s Wrestlemania 40.
When did The Rock enter WWE?
The Rock made his presence felt in WWE at Survivor Series 1996 which marked as the show for his WWE Debut. The People’s Champion was almost in a match that sabotaged his career before he ever got started. This match was also seemed to a surprise for many as the company had not given any matches to Dwayne Johson and just put him in squash matches.
The possible reason behind this is maybe the connection of the Rock with the Samoan Dynasty. If not because of Samoan Dynasty then it may be just a trail for the People’s Champion to showcase his skills. However, Rock survived that match and finally, his carrier in the company started and he becomes the Great One.
Since then, the People’s Champion had achieved multiple things in his WWE carrier. He faced legendary superstars like The Undertaker, Brock Lesnar, John Cena etc. However, still, nowadays the WWE Universe has been waiting for another match for the Great One as the fans wanted a match between Roman Reigns & The Rock.
