Gunther is in full beast mode as he builds up his feud with Jey Uso for WrestleMania 41. Things started heating up when Jey declared his desire for a shot at the Heavyweight Championship after winning the Royal Rumble.
Their rivalry grew even stronger once Jey officially confirmed he would face Gunther at WrestleMania. Now, the Ring General isn’t just going after Jey only, even taking shots at everyone who supports the 39-year-old star in a pure savage mode.
The 37-year-old seemed a bit unsure of himself when he saw how much the fans cheered for Jey Uso. It looked like he wanted to understand why the crowd was so excited whenever Jey entered the ring. But he didn’t see anything special when he came to ring the same way as Jey did.
So, he said he was sick of facing wrestlers who weren’t on his level. He even hoped to knock some sense into Jey Uso and make him rethink his decision. Gunther blamed the crowd for giving Jey too much confidence.

At one point, his harsh words made the arena go silent. But since most fans were supporting Jey, they quickly started booing The Ring General. Still, Gunther didn’t back down. He even went after Pat McAfee, who always dances along with Jey Uso’s famous “YEET” chant.
Gunther takes on Pat McAfee during WWE Raw
In the raw segment, Gunther seemed angry at even Pat McAfee, who famously ‘yeets’ along with Jey Uso. He threw the mic toward Pat and asked whether he thinks Jey can beat him at WrestleMania or not.
Pat appeared tense, knowing that if he adopted Jey’s name, the show could turn into a nightmare for him. But he did that like a brave man. McAfee simply said that he “hopes” Jey beats him.

This response enraged the Ring General, who appeared to be preparing to confront McAfee. However, thanks to Jey Uso, the Royal Rumble winner, who came out and prevented Gunther from beating the announcer.
