Hasbulla Magomedov is a Russian social media influencer from Dagestan who has gathered almost 2 million Instagram followers through his practical jokes, parody videos, and antics and frequently appears in popular Instagram and TikTok videos practicing and acting as a sparring partner with MMA fighters, most notably with UFC champion and fellow Dagestani Khabib Nurmagomedov. Magomedov will be in Islam Makhachev’s corner for his upcoming UFC 280 title fight against Charles Oliveira.
The social media star got the nickname “Mini Khabib” after being seen with Khabib Nurmagomedov several times. Magomedov probably has growth hormone disorder, a rare genetic condition that makes him look like a child. At first, he was popular because people said he was going to fight the Tajik celebrity Abdu Rozik, who is a victim of dwarfism.
Meanwhile, it is confirmed that Hasbulla will attend UFC 280 in Abu Dhabi, where Islam Makhachev and Charles Oliveira are scheduled to face off for the vacant UFC lightweight championship. Hasbulla Magomedov reveals his relationship with Islam Makhachev
This will not be the first time Hasbulla Magomedov will be cageside supporting Islam Makhachev. Hasbulla was with the Dagestani brigade when Makhachev went up against Dan Hooker at UFC 267 in October last year.
Makhachev defeated ‘The Hangman’ by way of submission in the first round, and Nurmagomedov was important in assisting Makhchev achieve this victory. While Magomedov and Khabib Nurmagomedov were celebrating Makhachev’s overwhelming victory, Magomedov began to playfully headbutt Khabib Nurmagomedov. Magomedov further stated, “They are my brothers. That’s why you see us together.”
Although Hasbulla is not a regular gym goer, he occasionally attends Nurmagomedov’s “Eagles” gym in Dagestan. He mentioned Islam Makhachev when asked who in Nurmagomedov’s team he knew well. Magomedov claims that he has known Makhachev for around ten years because they live close by. “Mini Khabib” continued: “I know Islam (Makhachev) for a long time. Very long time. We weren’t close friends but we’ve known each other for about 10 years… Yes, he’s my neighbor.”
Hasbulla just signed a deal with the UFC for five years
The influencer has recently signed a five-year deal with the UFC. He will not be taking to the octagon under the promotion’s banner but will be attending events and promoting related content on social media.
