Jalen Green, the No. 2 overall choice in the 2021 NBA draft, is widely regarded as one of the league’s brightest young talents because of the significant improvement he’s shown in the All-Star break in the previous season. In his final 10 games of the season, Green has stunningly improved a lot, scoring 26.1 points on average and shooting 41% from outside the arc.
This 20-year-old superstar is so focused on improving his level of performance and on earning Houston a success that he always makes the best use of the chances provided to him and excels at them being such a young age. Green’s personal objectives for this year reflects “Carry my team to more wins than last year, and hopefully be an All-Star,” which he stated during Rockets media day.

Green is all set for a bigger 2022-2023 NBA season. Going into his second year, he is expected to make a more enormous impact on the squad. Outside of training, he is also working on his rough demeanor.
According to his trainer Mike Hill, he has been working exceptionally hard during the offseason. It has even gotten to the point where it is being likened to the work ethic of the late Kobe Bryant. Additionally, Hill claimed that the young Rockets star gets unwell when he is unable to practice.
Hill said to The Athletic, “He actually gets sick when he doesn’t work out.” He added, “Ninety percent of this — is mental, you know what I mean? Everybody is talented at this level. But once his mentality [improved], once he got hot, once he found confidence, he kept going.”
The level of concentration and drive shown by this Green is uncommon among today’s youth. His legion of devoted followers believe he can and will one day become an NBA all-star.
