“He better start training his chin” Ryan Garcia issues stern warning to Gervonta Davis ahead of April 22 bout

There is only one month left till the super-fight between Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia takes place. Garcia has issued a strong warning to his next opponent in the ring before the battle that could go down as the most difficult of his professional career.

After much back-and-forth and near cancellations, the highly anticipated boxing bout between Garcia and Gervonta will finally go down on April 22 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Tank and The Flash KingRy have been at loggerheads for quite some time, and their fight has been in the works for quite some time as well. Both fighters have engaged in multiple virtual confrontations against one another, and now they’re less than a month away from meeting in the ring to resolve their differences for good.

What did Ryan Garcia say to Gervonta Davis?

Both boxers are issuing dire warnings to finish each other off when they finally square off. Tank is also cautioned by Garcia to boost his training beyond what he is currently doing. In an interview with Inside Fighting, Garcia said Davis better start training his chin.

Earlier, during the first official press conference held at The Beverly Hilton, the 24-year-old fighter claimed that Davis had shown no integrity or willingness to fight him. The Flash KingRy feels that he chose to make this fight happen because, rather than putting himself first, he prioritized boxing fans and sports because he wants to make an impact on this sport by leading the push.

The former WBC interim lightweight title holder is still undefeated in his professional career. In 2022, he competed against Javier Fortuna (37-3-1) and Emmanuel Tagoe (32-1-0) and came out victorious in both of those fights.
