Rapper Snoop Dogg has revealed that he considers NBA superstar LeBron James as one of the top five Basketball players of all time.
Speaking on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, rapper Snoop Dogg was full of praise for LA Lakers hitman LeBron James. Lebron, who is often referred to as “King James”, is one of the most iconic names in the NBA community.
But this respect is not a one-way street. LeBron was recently asked to name his top five album releases. Two of the five albums he named belonged to Snoop Dogg. One of those two albums was Doggy Style. The album itself was being paid tribute to by members of the podcast, with co-host Mike Majlak claiming “I haven’t been the same since I listened to it.”
“Doggy Style” was released back in 1993. So for it have an impact even today only shows the reverence it deserves. Snoop was aware of LeBron’s appreciation for his work. He was quick to point out his mutual respect for the 4-time NBA MVP.
“It’s a beautiful feeling to get respect from people you respect. It feels good for all us(everyone who worked on the album), not just me, to know that somebody as great LeBron James looks at our work and considers it top five. I look at him as top 5 basketball.”
The mutual respect between two icons from variant industries is very wholesome to say the least.
