Conor McGregor and Charles Oliveira—two of the best lightweight MMA fighters in the UFC—have never squared off in a combat. Since Conor is facing Michael Chandler in a return match, Oliveira is still aiming for his fight against Mystic Mac.
Up until his devastating loss to Islam Makhachev in UFC 280, Oliveira enjoyed a great UFC career. Despite Oliveira’s incredible 11-fight winning streak coming to a stop, the Brazilian fighter is fueled to turn things around as he takes on Beneil Dariush at UFC 289 on July 11.

Charles Oliveira and Conor McGregor ever fought in UFC?
Mystic Mac and Do Bronx never squared off in the octagon, despite Oliveira’s longstanding desire to fight the Irishman. Charles recently at a press conference criticized McGregor for constantly avoiding him.
Do Bronx claimed that despite numerous attempts to get Conor to a fight, The Notorious never responded. Oliveira will now only agree to fight Conor if he gets a call out from Mystic Mac.
When will Conor McGregor make his UFC return?
Conor McGregor will make his cage return against Michael Chandler in the later part of this year after being absent for nearly two years. However, due to multiple issues the battle between Mystic Mac and Iron is in jeopardy.
Despite persistent pressure from the USADA, McGregor steadfastly refuses to join the testing pool. Despite Dana White’s lofty intentions for the fight, neither the venue nor the date have been confirmed.
