The MMA star, Tom Aspinall sought treatment from the greatest rehabilitation doctor in the country after his TKO loss against Curtis Blaydes. The rehab doctor happened to be the same one who had previously worked with international soccer legend Cristiano Ronaldo.
Aspinall recently suffered a knee injury during a July TKO loss against Curtis Blaydes. He is seeking painstaking medical care despite the fact that the severity of the damage is unknown. He is currently under the care of the physician who assisted Cristiano Ronaldo during his trying moments. And we all recognize what a wonderful athlete Ronaldo is despite his repeated ailments. Tom feels some optimism and assurance just from knowing this.
Even though there is no time table of when he is going to return to the Octagon, he surely hopes it won’t be too long. In an interview with Midnite he said, “I got my surgery off the best surgeon in the U.K. – the top rehab guy in the U.K.” he also added, “He used to be Cristiano Ronaldo’s rehab guy. He’s seriously up there in the rehab world, and it feels great right now. I’ve been suffering with this knee injury for a long time. It feels way better than it has for a long time.”

“Before, I had a knee injury – and no one knew I had a knee injury. Now I have the knee injury and everyone knows about it, so me as a high-level UFC fighter – I know how other high-level UFC fighters think. If I was fighting an opponent with a knee injury, 100 percent I’d be attacking that knee. No question about it, and I know people will be doing the same to me. So I’ll only return when I’m 100 percent confident in taking kicks to the knee off other guys my size or heavier. There’s no way I’ll come back any earlier. I need to make sure I’m 100 percent before I am booking a fight.”
The rising star sustained far too many injuries over his brief UFC career. Although he hasn’t achieved much success yet, on March 21, 2022, he managed to reach position #6 in the UFC heavyweight rankings.
Despite his brief UFC career, Aspinall demonstrated some potential to be one of the best, but injuries can be detrimental to one’s career at times. It’s taking time and momentum from the young fighter. So, for the sake of his future, he needs to recover and get back to the octagon real quick.
