“He’s a Commerce Facilitator” – Paul Heyman praises Cody Rhodes’ dedication

Cody Rhodes is not a new face in the WWE, having established his fame in the rival company AEW. However, since his return to the Stamford-based promotion, he has demonstrated an entirely different persona.

Moreover, Rhodes’s commitment escalated after he defeated Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40, which caught the attention of “The Wiseman.” Paul Heyman recently praised Rhodes’s dedication during a discussion with Logan Paul.

Paul Heyman recently praised Cody Rhodes for his strong dedication to WWE on Logan Paul’s podcast, “ImPaulsive.” Heyman called Rhodes a “commerce facilitator,” meaning he helps WWE make money.

He said that Rhodes’ hard work isn’t just in the ring but also boosts WWE’s merchandise sales and ticket sales. Heyman explained, “He sells tickets, he sells t-shirts, he sells weight belts, he sells replica title belts that he signs, he drives commerce.”

Paul explained that If they need Cody Rhodes in Detroit to help sell out the show, he’s all in. He’d do three morning radio shows starting at 6 AM and even took on overnight or afternoon shows if needed. This shows how much Cody is willing to give his best to WWE.

Eric Bischoff’s take on Cody Rhodes vs Final Boss’ relationship

Everyone is aware that the rivalry and hatred between Cody Rhodes and The Rock have subsided following The Rock’s transformation into a babyface during the Netflix Raw Debut. The moment was quite surprising, as it showed the duo drinking together, conversing with smiles, and hugging each other.

However, for those who witnessed their feud prior to WM 40, it was a nightmare moment, and Eric Bischoff believes that this type of feud may resurface between them. Speaking on his podcast, Bischoff said, “The reaction that they’ve got, because I’ve seen a lot of it, social media’s like, ‘What the f**k? We’re just supposed to forget?'”

He added, “But, you know, Rock is really good at planting little Easter eggs along the way. The little quote to Cody, ‘Tell your mom I said Happy New Year,’ whatever the quote was to Cody’s mom that caught Cody by surprise, I don’t know, let’s just wait and see.”
