Getting famous is fairly easy, any random Joe can go to the street, cause some ruckus, and might get featured on TV or News, it’s holding onto that fame that is difficult. Irish superstar Conor McGregor is finding out this truth the hard way as one controversy after the other has led the likes of Liam Neeson to hate on him.
Conor’s rise inside the UFC was a story for the ages. Not only did the foul-mouthed Irish dismantle his opponents in verbal warfare, but he often put out fight performances that lived up to his trash-talking. His legendary knockout of Jose Aldo to win the title came right after his championship win against Dan Anderson in another weight division.
Coming from humble beginnings to becoming a two-division champ of course came with money, fame, women, and lots of illegal substances. Unfortunately for the ‘Mystic Mac’ he continued to indulge in more and more vices and began to rack up a negative reputation faster than he gained his initial fame.
In a recent interview, Liam Neeson was asked about the Irish celebrity to which he replied, “That little leprechaun Conor McGregor, he gives Ireland a bad name. I know he’s fit, and I admire him for that. But I can’t take it.”
Why is Liam Neeson so angry with Conor McGregor?
Where do we even begin? The multi-weight class fighter was never known for watching his mouth when he attacked others verbally. At one point, his friend Artem Lobov got slapped by UFC legend Khabib ‘The Eagle’ Nurmagomedov. In retaliation, McGregor decided to attack a UFC bus with his fellow goons.
The worst part is that ‘Notorious’ got humbled in his fight against Khabib and his so-called ‘friend’ decided to file a lawsuit against him recently. He is also currently in deep waters for beating up a woman on his Yacht.
