Alex Pereira is considered one of the best Brazilian fighters in UFC history, yet very little is known about his personal life. He was previously married, but the couple later mutually decided to part ways.
Alex then found new love, and the couple has been happily together ever since. They are often seen in delightful and entertaining videos online, and the MMA community has shown its support by expressing their love and admiration through comments on their cute videos and photos posted online.

He has two kids both appear to be in their teenage. One of his kids had gone viral in the past for mocking Isreal Adysanya. This happened back when Alex beat Izzy. Alex is often seen having fun with his kids. This one time he pranked his little kid by almost knocking him out.
This grew into a big issue and at the time Alex had even justified it saying, “I knocked him out the night I won the belt and my kid was wanting to do the same thing up there. I said, ‘No, stop. Don’t do it. Stay here and don’t do anything.’ I’m a conscious guy and everything I’m saying here, I’m really saying. I wouldn’t do it. If he did it and he felt better that way, it’s a relief and it won’t change anything for me.”

Pereira is now with the love of his life, Merle. The couple is frequently captured enjoying themselves in photos and videos on their social media accounts. Recently, they shared another endearing photo.
In a light-hearted gesture, Poatan posted a picture of a statue on his Instagram and playfully captioned it, “We’re adopting a child.” This momentarily puzzled some fans, who briefly thought they were indeed planning to adopt a child.
