For more than one year of break from the game, Brooklyn Nets guard plus forward Ben Simmons seems to have dropped from his original potential. In a recent viral video, the Nets star was seen missing an easy shot, breeding ridicules from fans.
Yesterday, the player was spotted practicing at Brooklyn Bridge Park, the home of the Brooklyn Nets. Nearly eight thousand cheering fans saw their favorite players take to the court. Ben Simmons can be seen casually tossing the basketball around. However, it was only a waste of time and energy because the missile went completely over the target. The video of Ben’s airball has received more than three million views creating hundreds of trolls in the NBA community.

Simmons was a member of the Philadelphia 76ers before being sent to the Nets in a trade. As a result of the harsh criticism he received during the defeat to the Washington Wizards in 2021, he ultimately decided not to be a part of the team anymore. The NBA rookie of the year, 2018, has sustained not just physical injuries but got his mental health stained as well, consequently keeping him off the floor for over a year.
However, the Nets head coach, Steve Nash, makes positive annotation regarding Ben and considers the club to be blessed for having their “versatile” player back in the league. With such words of praise from the HC, missing a sure shot while fun practice cannot turn out to be a wall for the All-Star guard.
