Jorge Masvidal has declared that he is willing to give everything “too kill” Conor McGregor if the two ever meet inside the octagon.
Jorge Masvidal is one of the biggest names in the UFC’s Welterweight division. Known for his knockout power, the Florida native is no stranger to fighting big names. But he has been out of action since his UFC 272 main event against Colby Covington. Although not much time has passed since then, no fight has been announced either.
There have been speculations linking him to various opponents. Even though he is coming off three straight losses, Masvidal’s name is still a big draw.
In a recent interview, however, “Gamebred” has expressed his desire to fight Conor McGregor, and “kill him” inside the octagon.
Speaking to an ESPN Deportes journalist, he said, ““He(McGregor) is false. He knows that I am a man who hits hard and that I come to kill. I do not come to hug in the cage,”
The 8th ranked Welterweight also stated his desire to end the Irishman “I am going to give everything inside me to kill him. I have a little size, although now he’s shooting up and putting steroids and all kinds of things (in his body), but he is still a little boy.”
Jorge, though, has stated that he will move on if former two-division champion doesn’t want to fight him, “I would love to fight at 170 pounds, but I don’t wait for anyone. If he wants to do it, I’ll break his face. If he doesn’t want to do it, let someone come next.”
UFC President Dana White has previously squashed the possibility of this fight because of Masvidal’s size advantage over Conor.
