Jose Aldo is considered one of the finest featherweights in MMA history. This Brazilian remained undefeated for more than a decade until he lost to Irish champ Conor McGregor at UFC 194.
After that, Aldo’s career started declining; he lost to big names, and he even moved up in weight, but it didn’t properly work for him.
During a press conference at UFC 283 on Saturday, Aldo revealed that Conor had sent him a pair of red panties after he defeated Frankie Edgar at UFC 200, but the Brazilian did nothing with them.
“It was just light-hearted fun. I think we were in the Red Rock owned by Lorenzo (Fertitta) in Vegas and (our rooms were facing) window to window. It was the night that I beat Frankie Edgar and he just sent it out as a light-hearted joke.”

“I didn’t do anything with it, but maybe I could even get my Mrs. to wear it or something.”
Conor has always had a big mouth, and that is one of the main reasons why he is so popular among the fans. Back in 2016, prior to UFC 197, talking to Rafael dos Anjos, “Mystic Mac” first used the catchphrase “Red Panty.”
“You fight me, it’s a celebration, when you sign to fight me, it’s a celebration. You ring back home; you ring your wife. ‘Baby, we’d done it! We’re rich, baby! Conor McGregor made us rich! Break out the red panties!”
The phrase Notorious used the phrase to interpret how other fighters were ready to fight him because he could bring them huge fortunes.
Currently, the first UFC dual weight champion is filming the Hollywood film “Road House” with Jake Gyllenhaal, and after suffering back-to-back losses against Dustin Poirier and sustaining a leg injury, it is expected that Conor will return to the octagon in the first half of this year.
