In the 2019-20 season, the Golden State Warriors finished with the worst league record of 15-50. The reason is that their key players, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, have been injured. Besides, because of an outstanding performance this year from Steph Curry, the Warriors were able to bounce back and will be facing the Boston Celtics in Game 1 of the NBA Finals.
In an interview with YouTube TV about Game 1 Preview, Steph curry explicated, ” I don’t want to depress myself with the history of the organization right now” and also added, “I’m going to think about the bright moments so I appreciate it”.
“It was just the confidence in knowing who we are and that Klay [Thompson] was coming back, but I got a lot of juice from the last 20 games last year,” Curry said in an interview with the NBCS. “We had a crazy up-and-down year just trying to stay afloat and then got to a point where we found our rotation and we finished 15-5, had those two tough losses in the Play-In Tournament and you could feel like we were close.”

“Close to being in that conversation where you’re a serious contender to come out of the West. Whatever that means, time will tell, but like, I got a lot of juice from that finish. Obviously I was playing well, figuring [it] out, building our chemistry, and re-forming the identity of who we are and how we play.”
The 34-year-old veteran will need to bring his A-game into the finals if he wants to win his fourth championship title and join the NBA Mount Rushmore.
