“I eat like a mouse”: The Big Show reveals his 500 lb. food habits

Paul Wight, popularly known as Big Show from his time in the Stamford Based Promotion (WWE), is currently working with All Elite Wrestling (AEW). He gained immense popularity for being one of the largest giants in the wrestling business and achieved numerous accolades during his tenure in WWE.

Recently, Wight revealed his shocking diet, which is not surprising considering his massive frame. Standing at a height of seven feet tall, maintaining his weight must be a challenging task for the wrestling legend.

Big Show reveals his heyday diet

The former WWE Champion revealed his early phase of the carrier and how the company initially tries to build him as the son of Andre the Giant. However, later on, plans might get changed. While speaking to TalkSport, the current AEW superstar revealed his heyday diet and how he manages his seven-foot height.

“My calorie intake back in the day, which was a lot of empty, bad calories, because I used to just eat whatever I wanted in massive amounts,” he said.

“I’d probably say it was somewhere between 13 to 18,000 calories a day. You get Big Macs you know, I get four Big Macs and then I get fries, I get a shake, get apple pies, probably a fish sandwich or two,” he further added.

This diet of Big Show is something the fans are really surprised to see. As many of them also reacted to the Twitter post of TalkSport.

Paul Wight weighed more than 500 lbs during his WWE career

For those unaware, the main reason behind Paul Wight’s rapid growth was due to an endocrine disorder known as acromegaly. Despite facing this medical challenge, he managed to achieve remarkable success in the wrestling business. During his prime time in the Stamford Based Promotion (WWE), the World’s Largest Athlete revealed that his weight was close to 500 lbs. Big Show mentioned that his weight often fluctuated between 463 and 537 pounds during his WWE career, with the majority of the time spent at 537 pounds. This made him one of the heaviest superstars in the history of professional wrestling.

Talking about Big Show’s accolades in the WWE. Throughout his career, he has achieved numerous championships and victories in major matches. His accolades include WCW World Heavyweight Championship (2 times), WWE’s World Heavyweight Championship (2 times) and even he held ECW & WWF championships.

The former WWE star also won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal back at WrestleMania 31. Overall even suffering from the disorder, the World’s Largest athlete is able to cement his legacy in the wrestling business.
