Jake Paul promises on his mom saying he’s anything but average and he wants to prove that by duplicating how Dmitry Bivol smashed Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez on Saturday night. The YouTuber turned boxer swore on his mother’s life he has what it takes to go toe-to-toe with the Mexican megastar Canelo Alvarez
Jake Paul took to Instagram following Bivol’s upset win over Alvarez to proclaim that he would do the exact same thing if he gets a similar opportunity within the next three years.
Paul is undefeated in five fights but only faced criticism for the low caliber of his opponents so far. The 25 year old star is convinced it’s only a matter of time before he gets a world title shot. Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn was baffled in the lead up to Katie Taylor versus Amanda Serrano last wee, as Paul told him that he had his eyes set on the Mexican world champion.
Paul said. “An amazing fight by Bivol. I’m two inches bigger than Bivol, 20 pounds heavier. Give me three years, I take out ‘Canelo’ in the same way. He’s on the ropes like he won. He only won three rounds out of the whole entire fight.

“Eddie Hearn, f*** you, you can suck my d***. I’m coming, I’m beating ‘Canelo’ in three f****** years. I put that on my mama.”
He added: “I have a long way to go and I know I can become a world champion because I’ve sparred against world champions. “I have great coaches and amazing people around me and I have a giant chip on both shoulders. “I want to prove everyone wrong and I’m going to, just for fun.”
It’s fair to say that, what Paul is doing following the Canelo’s defeat, and in true fashion, finding a way to steal the limelight. But it is yet to be decided how likely is it that we see Jake Paul box Canelo in the near future?
