“I think we should fight bro” Sean Strickland hilariously calls out Paulo Costa for next matchup

The Sean Strickland callout train marches on forward as he continues to try and pick a fight with individuals left or right. After getting into an altercation during a promotional program, the UFC Middleweight called out Dale Brown from Detroit Urban Survival Training. This time around Sean has decided to go after fellow middleweight Paulo ‘Borrachinha’ Costa for a Sean Strickland vs Paulo Costa match.

Recently Strickland went to his Instagram and issued his challenge, “I think me and @borrachinhamma should do the man dance? I’ll even buy the wine….. What do you all think?”

“Yo, Costa, I think we should fight, bro, It f—king makes sense, you know. I don’t know if you’ll be drunk or be able to make weight, eating cookies — let’s make this s—t happen,” he said in the video.

Will we actually see Sean Strickland vs Paulo Costa?

Sean is in a strange spot right now and basically represents the bizarre state of the Middleweight division. It seems like almost everybody has fought each other and made no progress. Current champ Alex Pereira just recently fought Sean, so the rematch doesn’t really make sense. Former champion Israel Adesanya already fought against Pereira and a fourth fight just recently got announced.

On the other hand, Robert Whittaker has lost twice against Izzy but has cleaned up pretty much the entire division. He was actually scheduled to fight Paulo Costa until the Brazilian pulled out citing negotiation failures. The reigning champion even called out for the Australian but the UFC seemed adamant about the rematch.

Khamzat Chimaev was expected to move up to 185lbs but the only fight he has been getting into lately seems to be against sparring partners across the globe. Many people want to see the Chechen take on Costa as they had some conflict in the past.

What do you think happens with the middleweight division next?
