“I want it so bad”: Charles Oliveira pledges to go for “hunt” against his bout with Beneil Dariush at UFC 288

UFC’s very own Charles Oliveira, aka “Do Bronx,” has an unwavering determination to conquer Beneil Dariush in UFC 288. Oliveira is confident that a victory against Dariush will guarantee him a shot at the lightweight title against Islam Makhachev.

Though Oliveira is sticking to the same fighting style, he’s approaching his prediction differently this time around. Oliveira plans to hunt Dariush down throughout the entire fight, no matter the outcome.

The Lion vs The Complete Fighter: Charles Oliveira and Beneil Dariush Set to Clash in Epic MMA Showdown

Oliveira and Dariush are both deft and versatile fighters with many submissions and knockouts to their names in their MMA careers. Oliveira is mindful of Dariush’s previous domination inside the Octagon, but he also recognizes that the Iranian has exploitable weaknesses.

Oliveira has trained with Chute Boxe pupils Diego Lima and Rafael Cordeiro to transition from a jiu-jitsu-focused fighter to an all-around fighter. Oliveira’s lust for a championship title is akin to a lion stalking its prey.

The UFC scheduled the contender fight earlier this year, but Oliveira insisted the fight be on his terms. Despite not revealing the reason for his withdrawal, Oliveira concedes that both he and Dariush have enhanced as athletes.

Charles is optimistic about the fight, stating that it will be a war between two great fighters. Dariush’s prowess in wrestling, jiu-jitsu, and striking makes him a complete MMA fighter.

What is Charles Oliveira aiming for going into UFC 288?

Oliveira is looking forward to the challenge and plans on being his usual self – walking forward, going for the fight, and hunting Dariush down. With his hunger and determination, there’s little doubt that “Do Bronx” will try to give his all in UFC 288.

On the horizon, Justin Gaethje has started his third run for the title by defeating Rafael ‘Ataman’ Fiziev in the UFC 286 co-main event. ‘The Highlight’ will look to secure his shot at the gold by potentially taking on Dustin Poirier sometime in the future.

With both Charles and Beneil evolving as athletes and showcasing their versatile fighting styles, this upcoming bout is anticipated to be an absolute war. It’s too early to tell who wins on May 6th, but fans will likely be the overall winners.
