“I was pissed off” Lakers’ Anthony Davis reveals why he chose not to celebrate as LeBron James broke Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s all-time scoring record

LeBron James is now the official King of the NBA after breaking Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s record for most points in the league on Tuesday. While the NBA world, including fans, superstars, and legends, was busy celebrating and congratulating T-Lrains’ new milestone. Anthony Davis was sitting on the bench with a grim face.

He did not even come up to James in the arena to show his appreciation. Davis’s reaction was quite concerning to the NBA world as he is considered one of LeBron’s closest friends and teammates in the Lakers unit.

Fans could not believe it. On the other hand, haters were spreading rumors that Anthony got jealous of Akron Hammer’s new accomplishment. So, he did not bother to congratulate the new scoring leader.

However, the rumors are nonsensical, and NBA analyst Shannon Sharpe agrees. After the haters were causing mayhem on social media platforms stating that Davis might look for a trade. Sharp reassured Laker fans that there was no beef between James and Anthony.

Moreover, Anthony Davis was upset that the Lakers lost the game and was traumatized by their position in the Western Conference. Because he was upset with the results, he could not focus on King James’ feat. Later Kyle Goon tweeted a video of AD where he explains his side of the story.

What did Anthony Davis say in Kyle Goon’s tweeted video?

In his tweet, Kyle Goon wrote, “For all the internet sleuths out there who were trying to dissect AD’s body language Tuesday as LeBron broke the record, Davis said he was consumed with losing the game and wasn’t aware that LeBron was about to pass Kareem:,” before sharing the video that contains Davis’s statement.

Even in the shared video, Anthony looks very unhappy, and why wouldn’t he be? The Lakers are now on a three-match losing streak and are seeded at the number thirteen position in the Western Conference. If the Lakers continue to lose like this, they will be eliminated before the playoffs.

Can the Lakers make a comeback from this position? It seems unlikely. You can share your opinion in the comments.
