“If I would pick someone, I would say Musk”: Ex-UFC Champ Jan Blachowicz supports Musk in potential fight vs Mark Zuckerberg

A former UFC champion has provided an amusing rationale for supporting Elon Musk in the potential fight “Musk vs Zuckerberg.” Elon and Mark, both renowned US-based business magnates, have been seen as rivals in the business world over the past few years.

The rivalry between the two tech billionaires escalated when Elon playfully mocked Mark’s Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training earlier this year. In a recent tweet, Musk jokingly suggested that he would like to fight Zuckerberg.

Surprisingly, Mark accepted the challenge, and since then, both individuals have shown interest in facing each other in an MMA bout under the UFC organization. UFC president Dana White has even expressed his openness to promoting the highly anticipated Musk vs Zuckerberg fight.

Jan Blachowicz offers support to Elon Musk

During a recent interview with James Lynch for Fanatics View, former UFC light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz was questioned about his thoughts on the potential fight between Elon and Mark, as well as the likelihood of it happening.

Lynch also jokingly suggested that Jan could train either Musk or Zuckerberg once his own fight is over.

Blachowicz playfully responded by referencing Musk’s ventures in space exploration, particularly his ambitious plans for the moon and Mars. With a light-hearted tone, Jan commented:

“After the fight. And if I would pick someone, I would say Musk, you know. Team Musk. Because, you know, afterparty will be somewhere in the moon or maybe in the Mars. It will be great.”

Why is Musk fighting Zuckerberg?

It all began when 52-year-old Musk criticized Meta, the parent company of Instagram, and their upcoming Twitter competitor. He tweeted that he would be willing to engage in a cage fight with its CEO, Mr. Zuckerberg.

In response, 39-year-old Mark, who is also the head of Facebook, shared a screenshot of Elon’s tweet and captioned it with “send me location.”

The SpaceX chief engineer then suggested that the two of them should fight in the Vegas Octagon. An enclosed fighting arena in Las Vegas is known for hosting Ultimate Fighting Championship matches.

According to Marca, a sports newspaper, Dana, the CEO of the UFC. He has been in contact with both Musk and Zuckerberg regarding the proposed cage fight.

Adding more intrigue to the situation is the fact that both men, who rank among the top 10 richest people in the world, possess physical prowess to complement their intellectual accomplishments.

Musk’s fighting skills have been validated by a Brazilian jiu-jitsu Black Belt, while Zuckerberg has been studying various martial arts since 2020 and has impressed several UFC stars, including Conor McGregor, with his fighting abilities.
