“I’m coming for you”: Jake Paul vows to KO Nate Diaz, sends stern warning to Tommy Fury

Jake Paul took the boxing world by storm as he went on a six-fight winning streak after making his pro debut in 2020. However, his fairytale run came to an end as Tommy Fury handed him his first pro boxing loss in their matchup earlier this year. The British boxer outclassed Jake on all fronts but the latter made a comeback to make it a close bout.

In the end, it was Fury who got his hands raised as two of the three judges scored the bout in his favor. Following this defeat, The Problem Child took a break from the sport. He will now make his return inside the ring as he takes on former MMA superstar Nate Diaz next.

Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz boxing bout overview

Jake Paul will step inside the boxing ring to take on former UFC welterweight star Nate Diaz in an eight-round bout on August 5th at the American Airlines Centre in Dallas, Texas. The Problem Child who suffered a split decision loss in his last fight will look to bounce back with a win over a big name like Diaz. Meanwhile, The Stockton Slugger will try to make a mark as he makes his pro boxing debut.

Jake Paul and Nate Diaz faceoff

Speaking about this matchup, the fight will take place at 185 pounds. It is needless to say that Jake will have a massive size advantage over Diaz as the latter normally competed at welterweight in the UFC. The only benefit that Nate Diaz has in competing at 185 is the fact that he does not need to cut a lot of weight.

If we compare the two fighters, Nate has a ton of combat experience, but boxing is very different and the Stockton’s own is known for his jiu-jitsu skills. Meanwhile, Paul is training for the last four years and has a good amount of boxing experience under the bag. Considering most of the factors favoring Jake Paul, it will be difficult for Diaz to pull off an upset in his pro boxing debut.

Jake Paul warns Tommy Fury and advises him to be ready for a rematch

KSI and Tommy Fury were linked to fight each other in August. However, the talks of a possible matchup are breaking down after disagreement in the contractual terms. TNT wants to fight at 185 and has offered JJ an ultimatum. Meanwhile, the British YouTube star is adamant to compete at 180. Amidst this dispute, Jake Paul who is rivals with both KSI and Tommy chimed in and posted a video on social media.

The Problem Child shared his thoughts on the disagreements between JJ and Fury. He also exposed KSI and promised to KO Nate Diaz and challenge TNT for a rematch. “Tommy I’m gonna teach you a something little here. KSI’s a b***h. He’s all f*****g talk. He fought Logan at a 193. but wants to weight drain everybody.”

“He says, ‘Oh, I’m levels above everybody,’ but then wants everybody to cut down to get them to as low as possible so he can take advantage of them. It’s not going to happen. He’s all talk. He only wants to fight disabled video gamers or guys who are f****** old as f*** and elbow them in the face.

“But Tommy, as my son, I’m disappointed in you, man. I made you a millionaire, I made you famous, and you haven’t said thank you! You’re a prick, you’re a b****, you said you would wipe me across the floor, wipe me across the canvas, but you’re the one that tasted the canvas. You’re the one that tasted the floor! In a split decision, you barely beat me. So after I knock out Nate Diaz [on] Aug. 5, I’m coming for you, Tommy. You better be ready. I’m coming.”

It seems that the KSI vs Fury fight is in jeopardy and Jake wants to pounce on this opportunity by offering a contract to TNT for a rematch. Do let us know in the comments section your thoughts on Jake’s dig at JJ.
