“I’m filled with vengeance”: Jake Paul confident of a rematch with Tommy Fury after Nate Diaz bout

When it came to professional boxing, Jake Paul had an unblemished record that Tommy Fury shattered. After his next fight against Nate Diaz, Jake isn’t giving up on a rematch with his British nemesis.

Why Jake Paul say about a rematch against Tommy Fury?

Against longtime adversary Tommy Fury in February at Saudi Arabia’s Diriyah Arena, YouTuber-turned-boxer suffered his first defeat in boxing. Before facing TNT, Jake had won six consecutive matches. However, right after the fight both TNT and The Problem Child expressed they are up for a rematch.

Although many devoted boxing fans would disagree, Jake’s matchup with Tommy was a huge success. In reality, one of the greatest PPV sales record in recent memory took place. Jake recently talked about the possibility of a rematch with a younger Fury in an interview.

“It’s gonna happen for sure. I think it was a great fight, it was entertaining, it was the biggest pay-per-view buys of boxing for the last two years. So, I think we have to run it back and Tommy’s down, so I’m excited for that.” Jake said.

How is Jake’s training for the fight against Nate Diaz going?

The younger Paul brother is currently focused on his upcoming fight against MMA veteran Nate Diaz in an effort to turn things around. Paul responded by saying he’s filled with vengeance when asked how Diaz’s fight preparation was going.

“It’s good. I’m ready, I’m excited and I’m filled with vengeance and I’m excited to come back and perform.” Paul added.

Jake’s boxing career might be put on hold if he continues to lose given the situation. If he loses to Diaz, the YouTuber-turned-boxer has already stated that he will resume making videos as he once did and stop competing in combat sports.

Even though there is currently no certainty regarding a Paul – Fury 2, but the internet sensation’s next ring task has been put in place. On August 5 at the Dallas American Airlines Center, The Problem Child is slated to square off against Diaz.
