Since King James joined the LA Lakers in 2018, he has made quite a good number of acquaintances among his teammates, some of whom have even become his hangout pals. Despite his strict gestures on the court, the 37-year-old Lakers power forward is a very friendly and fun-loving guy.
While they were all on the court together, LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, and Kevin Love made the Cleveland Cavaliers a top team in the Eastern Conference. When James, Kevin, and Irving played together in 2015, they were called the “most dynamic trio” in the league. When James played with the Miami Heat from 2010–14, his closest mates were Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, and they were named “The Big Three.”
LeBron is reputed for making friends quickly, and the most recent player on his close friend list is Lakers forward Anthony Davis. When AD was moved to the Lakers from the Pelicans at the age of 27, it was James who then acted as his mentor. They won the championship for the 20200-21 season as a team.
When asked how he felt about AD, James responded, “I’m happy to be his teammate and extremely proud to be his best friend. I’m his best friend. I don’t care what he says.” He went on to say how fortunate he feels to share a team with someone of such high caliber in both skill and character.

Both Anthony Davis and James Harden seem to hold each other in high regard and have been overheard exchanging nothing but kind comments about one another. They have a special connection that shines through on and off the dance floor. Earlier this year, Davis said in a press conference, “I think us two [Davis and James] can. We’ve shown that we can, “believing he and LeBron can be the “foundation” of a winning team.
Injuries have been a constant companion for Davis over the previous two seasons. Due to health issues, “The Brow” missed 36 games in 2020 and 2021. The atmosphere in the NBA community gets heavier in anticipation of seeing if James’s determination can win the title along with the combined efforts of recovering Davis. Lakers fans are hoping to put strong faith in the partnership of Bron and AD as the NBA 2022-23 season approaches.
