Belgian forward Romelu Lukaku has come under fire several times because of poor performances on the pitch – his performance on Saturday night in the Champions League final was no exception.
His rumoured girlfriend, American rapper Megan Thee Stallion has seemingly unfollowed him on social media, and many believe the reason behind this to be Lukaku’s poor performance on Saturday night.

Romelu Lukaku and Megan Thee Stallion dating?
The 30-year-old Inter Milan forward was spotted together with Megan at the wedding of Lukaku’s teammate, Argentina’s World Cup-winning forward Lautaro Martinez, in Lake Como, Italy, where the duo were hand in hand. This sparked rumours of the two possibly dating; however, there has been no confirmation of it.
Megan Thee Stallion’s last known official date was a fellow rapper, Pardison Fontaine. The two dated for a couple of years; however, their relationship seems to have taken a fall after both of them deleted photos of their anniversary from Instagram.
Did Romelu Lukaku stop Inter Milan’s equalizer?
Following a brilliant finish from Rodri in the 68th minute, Inter Milan trailed 1-0 in the Champions League final on Saturday night. In a desperate attempt to find the equalizer, Inter coach Simone Inzaghi brought in Romelu Lukaku from the bench. His addition had an instant impact on the game, as Inter were creating dangerous chances in an attempt to not go down.
Shortly after Rodri scored, left-back Roberto Dimarco was given a free header in the City box, and his first looping attempt beat City keeper Ederson but crashed off the bar. Dimarco, with no target in front of him, was aiming for a header from the rebound.
The second header, which was headed for the bottom corner, was stopped by Lukaku of Dimarco’s own team with his heel. The Belgian striker made a comical and heartbreaking play by clearing the ball off the Manchester City goalline.

Lukaku got another chance at a header later, but his attempt was weak, aimed directly at Manchester City keeper Ederson. Two near misses made Rodri’s goal stand out, as Manchester City claimed the title of European Champions for the first time.
It is unclear whether the abysmal display resulted in a breakdown between Romelu Lukaku and Megan Thee Stallion, but as it came directly after the UCL final, we can’t rule out the possibility either.
