It’s like DeAndre Hopkins loves to find himself around rumors. As everyone is anticipating the 30-years old WR’s signing with the Arizona Cardinals, Tennessee Titans, or any other team, this wide receiver shared something on Instagram that his friend finds terrifying to understand.
In 2013, Hopkins began his professional career in Houston, signing a four-year, $7.62 million contract, and concluded the 2019 season with 104 receptions for 1,165 receiving yards and seven receiving touchdowns.
In exchange for running back David Johnson, the Texans dealt the fourth-round selection of the wide receiver to the Arizona Cardinals on March 16, 2020. Here, Hopkins passed a great season with 64 catches for 717 yards and three touchdowns in 2022. Yet, The Nuk had to miss the first 6 matches of that previous season as this Cardinals’ Pro-Bowl WR was suspended for the allegation of violating the NFL’s Performance Enhancing Drug policy.
The 30-year-old’s current contract with the Cardinals has two more years left on it, but according to Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer, the Cardinals want to trade Hopkins for a second-round pick and something else valuable.
According to reports, Arizona wanted a second-round pick and an additional pick in exchange for this WR, additionally, the Patriots, the Chiefs, and the Titans have shown interest in Hopkins.
What did DeAndre Hopkins share to keep him at the center of attraction?
DeAndre recently posted an Instagram story with the lyrics to the Bob Marley song “Buffalo Soldier,” which caused a lot of outrage in the online world. Sal Capaccio, a reporter for WGR 550 shared the video on Twitter, though after sharing this story, Hopkins deleted it after some moments later.

While all of the fans are eagerly anticipating this athlete’s next move, a story like this piques their curiosity about his potential future. Some of his followers think that he wanted to impart something through this tale and did not want to accept it as a coincidence, considering that he picked that song at a time when trade speculations have been rife. The majority of fans reach the conclusion that Hopkins genuinely attempted to trick everyone in order to gain attention.
I swear these guys just post these to F with us in the offseason for their own entertainment.
And I gotta tell ya, Sal. I'm here for it.

This story got another level of attention as recently DeAndre started following Buffalo Bills’ Von Miller and Allen, in the midst of that incident, he added fuel to the flames by sharing the buffalo song. So, the fans throw a wild guess pointing out that Hopkins may be interested in signing with Buffalo Bills, though it’s pretty unsure what is going on in his mind.
He removed this. I think might just be trolling. But why follow Von Miller and Allen today and then post that? That is some high class trolling
