There have been rumblings that the former women’s champion may retire from pro wrestling. She just posted a picture album on Instagram, captioning it, “Sorry, I couldn’t hear you through my retirement.”, a quote from Bernie Lumen. Despite the apparent confirmation of her retirement, many WWE supporters remain hopeful that she would win one last championship before leaving the company.

Rousey’s close confidant Daily Mail’s Sadie Whitelocks later stated that she will be shifting her attention to the UFC and training for a bout at UFC 300 in 2019, while she wraps down her WWE obligations. Whitelocks said, “She is now focusing on potentially making a run to have one last fight in the UFC and compete at UFC 300 when that presents itself sometime next year.”
