Isaiah Thomas has been one of the best talents we have seen in the NBA in recent years. He has played for nine teams in the NBA and has tremendous experience in the league.
The Suns point guard, however, has been out of the NBA since 2022, although he recently played four games with the Salt Lake City Stars in the NBA G League, where he averaged 32.5 points per game.
Isaiah Thomas returns after 2-year hiatus
Isaiah Thomas has been out of the game for 2 years. Recently, it was revealed that Thomas had several issues with his right hip, includingย loss of cartilage, arthritis, and some inflammation to go along with a torn labrum, per The Athletic.
But finally, Isaiah Thomas has made his NBA comeback as the Phoenix Suns have signed the two-time NBA All-Star to a 10-day contract. He returned to action in the game against the Philadelphia 76ers, where he logged one assist in two minutes played.

When asked about what kept him going through all these years to make a comeback, Isaiah Thomas said, โThe love. The love for the game. I love it so much. Every time I step on the floor I got that same feeling. It puts a smile on my face. I love competing, I love playing basketball, I love trying to figure out how to get better.โ
Isaiah expressed his emotions on Twitter, saying that he felt good when he put his Phoenix Suns jersey back on. The two-time NBA All-Star also wrote about how he appreciates the love and support he has gotten over the years from his fans, who have always believed in him.
Man it felt good to put that Suns jersey back on. I appreciate the love frfr ๐
