The Welterweight Division is one of the most stacked divisions in the entire UFC. Now things are heating up outside the octagon as well as a war of words ensues between Welterweight contenders Belal Muhammad and Sean Brady.
Sean Brady has slowly made a name for himself in the Welterweight division. With a record of 5-0 in the UFC, and 15-0 overall, the undefeated fighter has put the division on notice with recent unanimous decision victory over Michael Chiesa. Besides Chiesa, Brady also has a couple of knockout victories in the UFC.
Currently ranked number 9 in the world, Brady is looking to face higher ranked opponents. He has recently called out the likes of Belal Muhammad, and Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson. Both fighters allegedly were offered contracts to fight him, but they both turned it down.
Expressing his frustration on Twitter, Brady called out Belal:

He wasn’t done firing shots, as his next call out was Stephen Thompson:

Although Thompson did not say anything in return, “BullyB” or Belal was very quick to respond:
Lol didn’t u pull out of our first flight clown who’s running ..: it’s funny u got twitter fingers now but went silent when @handzofsteelmma was calling ..there’s 4 guys above me without a fight I’m tryin to fight https://t.co/j5hOwZmjV4

Belal has slowly put together one of the best runs in the division. He has picked up consecutive wins over Damien Maia, Stephen Thompson, and very recently Vicente Luque. Immediately after his last fight, he called out higher ranked opponents in the division- namely Colby Covington and the erratic Khamzat Chimaev. He even asked for a title shot against Kamaru Usman.
Although nothing has transpired as of yet, Belal could end up fighting Brady if nothing else comes around.

Brady seems to be very clear about his target. A win over Belal would surely put in the discussion for a title shot. As for Belal, however, a lower ranked opponent does not seem to be in his sights. He is more keen on someone higher, or even a title shot.
