The former dual-weight UFC champion Conor McGregor was recently charged with a physical assault by a woman during his recent birthday celebration on his yacht at a well-known beach club in Ibiza.
The accuser is one of his previous neighbors from Dublin. She stated that the Mystic Mac at one point at the birthday party started harassing her, and even Conor started to physically abuse her, which led her to jump from the yacht.
Notorious denied the allegation, but the entire combat sports fraternity is talking about the issue.
Recently, in a YouTube video, his fellow UFC colleague Michael Bisping shared his thoughts about Conor’s incident in Ibiza.
“The reality is, it’s innocent until proven guilty. That is the world that we live in. Anybody can say anything, it doesn’t make it true. I am not defending Conor McGregor at all. I’m not in the business of doing that.”
The count has not taken any party’s side but adheres to the policy of innocence until proven guilty.
“However, he’s very rich, he’s very famous, and there is ambulance chasers. There is people that go after money. McGregor, wherever he goes, much like Mike Tyson back in the day, there’s a lot of assholes. I’m not saying she is one. I’m not saying she’s an ambulance chaser. I’m not saying she’s making it all up, but I’m also not saying it’s true.”
But Bisping referred to the incident as a bad one and expects the Police department will do a fair investigation and bring the real truth to light.
“Either way, it’s not a good look. Certainly not a good look, but we’re gonna let justice run its course. Let the police do the investigation before we cast any judgment. The reality is, when you’re worth, god knows what he’s worth, people try to come after it.”
