“I’ve got a family to feed now” Tommy Fury reveals only motivation for pursuit of bout vs Jake Paul is money

A fight between Jake Paul and Tommy Fury is planned to take place in February. One month before the match, Tommy says that the only thing driving him to fight is money.

Long-time enemies Jake and Tommy were set to fight in the ring a year ago, but Tommy was unable to get to the United States in time, thus the bout was postponed. The opportunity for a bout between the two undefeated boxers has, however, reopened.

In 2018, Tommy Fury made his professional boxing debut at Manchester Arena, facing off against Jevgenijs Andrejevs. That was a terrific beginning to his career, and over the next four years, he won seven more fights. The 23-year-old boxer is undefeated with an 8-0-0 record and four knockout victories.

On the other hand, Jake Paul entered the professional boxing circuit in 2020. He has since gone six fights without losing a single one. ‘The Problem Child’ has become well-known because of his undefeated ring record and his recent victory over Brazilian fighting veteran Anderson Silva. This month Jake Paul began his MMA career by signing with the PFL.

On February 25th, if everything goes according to plan, Tommy will square off against Jake.

However, Tommy has stated in recent interviews that the primary reason he wants to fight Paul is for the money. Tommy and his girlfriend Molly Mae Hague are expecting a child, so they need to make a lot of money to provide for their new family.

Tommy recently made an appearance on the Disruptors podcast with Rob Moore, where he discussed his thoughts on the upcoming fight. All the 23-year-old boxer sees with Jake Paul is business.

According to Fury, if Pauls wants to beat a man who can’t fight and throw millions of pounds in his face, he does not see a problem there.

“There is [a part of me that wants to shut him up] but he doesn’t get underneath my skin like that. He can’t get underneath my skin because I know what he’s doing. He’s a whizz on social media, he’s made a living off being an idiot, arrogant, and calling people out. It is what it is but he can’t get underneath my skin.” Fury added.

Both The Problem Child and TNT have recently begun working on their ring skills in order to get ready for their upcoming bout.
