Jade Cargill’s Serious Injury Angle Puts Her Survivor Series Appearance in Question

The WWE Women’s division received an unexpected hit with just six days remaining before the Survivor Series. Jade Cargill, the current tag team champion, became the victim of a surprising injury angle on the latest SmackDown. On Friday Night SmackDown, Jade Cargill was found unconscious on a broken car hood in the parking lot. The WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance. 

Her Tag team partner, Bianca Belair, left her match to be with her. It’s still unclear who attacked Cargill just a few days before the 2024 Survivor Series: WarGames. 

At first, many thought the incident was just part of the show. However, WWE later shocked fans by announcing the Superstar’s indefinite absence due to multiple injuries.

WWE Shares update on Jade Cargill’s injury

WWE has released an official update on Jade Cargill’s condition following her shocking attack on the November 22nd episode of SmackDown. According to the promotion, Cargill, who was found unconscious on the hood of a car, has been diagnosed with multiple injuries.

They said on their official Twitter account that Cargill has sustained deep lumbar paraspinal muscle contusions, a bruised kidney, a sprained MCL in her right knee, a tibial plateau bone bruise in her right knee, and facial lacerations. There is currently no timetable for her return.

Jade Cargill was set to join the Women’s WarGames match at Survivor Series 2024, but her recent injury has raised doubts. The Stamford-based-promotion has yet to announce a replacement for the highly anticipated match
