Trevor Lawrence, the Jacksonville Jaguars‘ all–star quarterback, has been nursing a toe injury for weeks now. Despite being banged up, Lawrence has managed to maintain his impressive streak of not missing any game time yet.
The Jaguars released their final injury report ahead of their divisional–round matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs this Saturday. Lawrence‘s name was listed among the questionable players, indicating that he is still dealing with his toe injury.
During the week, Lawrence was limited in all three practice sessions. In the previous game against the Los Angeles Chargers, he threw for 288 yards and four touchdowns, and four interceptions in the 31–30 comeback win.
In addition to Lawrence, five other Jaguars players were also listed as questionable. Offensive lineman Brandon Scherff has an abdominal injury, offensive lineman Luke Fortner is dealing with a back injury, and Kendric Pryor, Jamal Agnew, and Ross Matiscik are all nursing shoulder and back injuries respectively.
Despite these issues, it is likely that all of them will play on Saturday.
It is clear that Lawrence is one of the toughest players in the league. Despite being injured, he is still keen on playing in the divisional–round matchup against Kansas City. He is determined to reach the end–zone and ensure a win for the Jaguars. While his toe injury is still a cause for concern, he looks set to take the field and fight for the win.
The rest of the injuries are also being monitored closely. Most of them are expected to be on the field come Saturday. The Jaguars have been preparing rigorously and they are confident that they will put up a great fight against the Chiefs. With Lawrence leading the charge, they have a great chance of bagging the win.
