YouTuber turned boxing star Jake Paul has jumped in to support former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou after MMA promotion One Championship failed to sign him. The Problem Child slammed MMA promoters and criticized One CEO Chatri Sityodtung for his comments on Ngannou in an interview.
Jake Paul took to Twitter to express his disappointment as One Championship did not match Francis Ngannou’s demands. The 26-year-old pro boxer claimed that The Predator is the best heavyweight MMA fighter in the world and deserves his fair share of respect.
Funny how promoters always try to devalue fighters for their own benefit / narrative. Francis is the best heavyweight MMA fighter in the world and he deserves to be treated as such. https://t.co/VBA5dnzQ9h

This is not the first time Jake has supported Francis Ngannou as he previously took a stand for the former UFC champion during his battle with Dana White over fighter pay.
The Problem Child has been a big advocate of fighters receiving proper salaries and health care. However, many people on Twitter criticise Jake for his actions as they believe he is doing it to gain the support of MMA fighters for his own benefit.
Coming back to Francis Ngannou, The Predator not agreeing to sign a deal with One Championship is a probably big thing to worry about as there aren’t a lot of options left for the former UFC heavyweight champion.
Will Francis Ngannou sign a deal with PFL like Jake Paul?
As mentioned before Francis Ngannou has potentially suffered a big blow by not signing a contract with One Championship. Because he could have ideally competed against top heavyweight boxers like Tyson Fury or Deontay Wilder in a mixed rules match.
One example is the Demetrious Johnson vs Rodtang fight. Apart from One Championship, Ngannou has two options PFL and Bellator. If One CEO Chatri’s comments about Francis having no problems with the salary is true then it is highly possible that Bellator and PFL will match the offer.
Given that Ngannou is on good terms with Jake and the two combat sports athletes have somewhat similar ideologies regarding fighter pay, we might see the former UFC champion compete there. Do let us know in the comments section which organization in your opinion should Francis Ngannou sign with.
