Jake Paul takes sly dig at KSI after Deen The Great sheds light on Misfits’ lawsuit threats

After a public negotiation with Adin Ross, Deen the Great and Adam Saleh are set to face each other for 5 rounds in Miami, Florida on the 16th of March, which would be live streamed on Kick via Adin Ross’ stream.

This is a highly anticipated bout for boxing fans as discussions of Saleh facing Deen have surfaced since over a year. However, Deen The Great seems to be in legal trouble over an alleged lawsuit that could be filed by Misfits Boxing.

Jake Paul fires shots at KSI

Deen The Great is on the verge of facing a lawsuit from Misfits Boxing for comitting for a bout which will be streamed by Adin Ross. Jake Paul responded to Deen The Great’s tweet about the lawsuit, calling out KSI, the CEO of Misfits Boxing.

“Didn’t the forehead (referring to KSI) spar iShowSpeed on stream, trying to hurt DAZN viewership?”, Paul wrote referring to the very viral clip of iShowSpeed getting pieced up by KSI in a friendly sparring event that took place on iShowSpeed’s stream.

Deen The Great and Jake Paul are seemingly on the same page as Deen showed solidarity with Jake’s statement.

Jake Paul’s recent statement has sparked controversy among boxing fans as he himself had previously declined to promote The PRIME card during his fight against Nate Diaz. This decision not only impacted DAZN viewership but also affected PRIME, which is the brand of Logan Paul (Jake’s brother) and KSI.

Deen The Great claims Misfits threatening to sue him

Deen The Great’s boxing career and record has been maintained entirely by Misfits, after Deen debuted in the boxing circuit. In January of last year, it was announced that Deen the Great will have his debut fight with English TikTok star Pully Arif in the co-main event of Misfits x DAZN X Series 005. Deen has been with Misfits ever since.

Accepting the fight with Adam Saleh to be fought on Adin Ross’ stream on Kick could potentially violate the terms and conditions written in the contract that signed Deen The Great to Misfits.

According to Deen though, this does not make sense, as he states that he is not making any sort of money accepting the fight, despite Adin Ross’ explicit mention of a ‘bonus amount.’

Could this potentially mean that Deen The Great will no longer be a part of the Misfits and would vacate the DAZN x Misfits Lightweight Belt? Could Deen The Great now sign with Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions? Could the highly anticipated bout be cancelled due to the lawsuit?
