The Super Bowl is just a week away and following the main event of the NFL many people from across the globe have shared their teams on social media platforms including boxing star Jake Paul.
Jake since his arrival in boxing has made numerous headlines. Jake debuted during an amateur bout in August of 2018 and scored a fifth-round technical knockout over British YouTuber Deji Olatunji. After turning professional in January 2020, Paul quickly dispatched YouTuber AnEsonGib through a first-round technical knockout.
Now that he is a known figure in the Boxing world, fans are interested to know who Paul is rooting for in the NFL. While Jake shared an Instagram story telling his fans to ask him questions, a fan asked the boxer the Super Bowl question. There was no surprise when Jake Paul said that he was supporting the Chiefs when they will take on the Eagles.
Why is Jake Paul supporting the Kansas City Chiefs?
There are mainly two reasons for Jake to support the Kansas City team. Firstly, Paul is from Cleaveland Oklahoma and he is proud to be an Oklahoman and so there was no doubt that he would support his home team. On the other hand, the boxer is a huge fan of Travis Kelce. He even specified in his story saying, “I got the @chiefs I hope @killatrav takes it home for Cleveland”
Afterward, Kelce responded to him in his story saying, “You know we forever Rep The City!!”
It seems like Travis is pumped up after getting the support of Paul. He should be as the Kansas City team depends on him and his scoring abilities. Kelce will have to bring his “A” game when he faces his brother Jason Kelce in the all-important Super Bowl.
Can he do it and bring victory for the Chiefs? Time will tell. Stay tuned for some exciting football in the Super Bowl!
