The Kansas City Chiefs have become the AFC West champions after Sunday’s 25 – 17 win against the Cincinnati Bengals. KC’s, thanks to their amazing passing game and overall efficiency of around 7 yards per play, took home the title for the eighth time.
The match, played on KC’s home ground, was a neck-to-neck battle. The match also led to a brawl between the teams, which started with Ja’Marr Chase and L’Jarius Sneed.

As important as the match was, it was as intense as well, not just when it comes to the game, but we also witnessed a massive fight breakout! The trash talk between Ja’Marr Chase and L’Jarius Sneed escalated quickly; they pushed each other a few times and soon the whole team was involved.
The event acted as fuel for the already heated game, amplifying the rivalry between the Chiefs and the Bengals. The referees and other players had to intervene to handle the situation.
Ja’Marr Chase explains why the Chiefs-Bengals brawl broke out
After the match, Ja’Marr Chase, who had a subtle altercation with Patrick Mahomes, went on to say that “I just be under people’s skin sometimes,” referring to how often he gets involved in such brawls. He admitted that he started the trashtalk against the opposing defense, which made them mad at him. Ja’Marr Chase says that this is his style and simply something that he likes to do.
It was all trash talk until Sneed couldn’t handle it, as said by Ja’Marr Chase, which led to pushing each other a few times and soon the whole team was involved. Ja’Marr Chase quoted, “MFer wanted to fight me, and so was I,” stating that he wouldn’t shy away from any fights.
Chase claimed that the whole defense was mad at him and the trash talk served as a spark in the already heated arena. After all these strong statements, Chase’s being under people’s skin doesn’t seem like a surprise; rather, it seems to be his style of playing the game, and if that’s the case, we might get to see more such brawls and fights in his controversial career surrounded by injuries and fights.
At last, Chase, despite the injuries, played well and the whole Cincinnati Bengals gave all it took. The match was even for some time until KC’s took the lead, but at last, the Kansas City Chiefs managed to steal the show. All in all, it was a great match and a New Year’s eve for the Kansas City Chiefs supporters.
