After achieving his undisputed glory in 2021, the Mexican sensation suffered a setback in 2022, losing to Dmitry Bivol in a lackluster performance. He rebounded with a unanimous decision win against Gennadiy Golovkin, but the fire to prove himself still burns within him.
Alvarez with a superb record of 58-2-2 and 39 KOs, is scheduled to defend his WBO, IBF, WBC, and WBA super middleweight belts. The “cinnamon” against John Ryder on May 6th, is desperate to get back on track. If all goes well, he plans to lure Bivol back into the ring for a rematch.
