The Jets have been restoring an assortment of former Packers players and coaches to provide the former Packers veteran four-time MVP Aaron Rodgers with a family atmosphere following an explosive trade leading to the acquisition of the Packers four-time MVP quarterback.
After being in the Packers center for 18 seasons, Aaron broke up with the team following a conflict with the Green Bays’ front office and was finally traded to New York in April. The veteran quarterback was already a big favorite of the New York Jets, so they already felt like winners before he joined the team.
However, following the headline-grabbing trade, the Jets amused the NFL by signing one after another Packers player for this season and the Packers safety is the newest ex-Packer to join the Big Apple.
Adrian Amos is the latest ex-Packer to follow Aaron Rodgers
The Jets’ roster has plenty of star power along with adequate depth at almost every position, yet to get a more veteran-focused roster and provide Aaron with another familiar face, the team reportedly signed former Green Bay Packers safety Adrian Amos to a one-year deal worth up to $4 million Tuesday.

Amos started his NFL journey with the Bears and had with them for four seasons before being added to the Packers’ roster where the safety appeared in four seasons and joined the Jets safety room, occupied by Jordan Whitehead and Chuck Clark. The 30-year-old recorded 73 solo tackles, 29 assists, 1.0 sacks, 1 fumble recovery, and 1 interception in 17 games in his last season with the Packers.
How many players left Packers for the Jets this season
It seems the Packers players are rushing behind the train of the Jets, paying less value to the Packers where receiver Allen Lazard first cut the ticket, soon quarterback Tim Boyle, A-rod, wide receiver Randall Cobb and offensive lineman Billy Turner joined him on the journey.
Now, the safety Amos joined them becoming six players who cut his name from the Packers roster and joined the Jets squad where there is his former offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett.
Now, the Jets family looks like more of a Packers family, leading the fans to wonder who is the next Packers player catching the Jets train.
