The four-time MVP Aaron Rodgers trade dispute is still lingering because the Packers and the Jets are still unable to reach an agreement. In this context, Zach Wilson, another quarterback, appeared in the Jets’ program and gave the entire NFL community some insightful hints.
The Jets selected the former BYU quarterback as the No. 2 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. Among several talented young quarterbacks at the time, Wilson was selected in the second round.
Zach Wilson started all 13 games in 2021 as the starting quarterback and threw for 2,334 yards, 213 completions on 383 attempts, nine touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. Zach also had a 3-10 record by that point. Unfortunately, he suffered a knee injury during the preseason, missing the first three games of the season.

The trade dispute with Arod has since grown more difficult to comprehend and cast doubt on. Earlier, the Jets were interested in Aaron, and the quarterback had also expressed a desire to fill their starting quarterback position. In the mids of it all, the team posted a mysterious comment on Rodgers’ enigmatic post.
Although the trade has not yet taken place, both teams almost certainly believe they are in the driver’s seat in negotiations for the quarterback. In this regard, Rodgers ascribed blame to the Packers, claiming their asking price was excessive. According to reports, the Green Bay Packers are asking the New York Jets to trade their quarterback in exchange for a 2023 second-round pick and a 2024 first-round guaranteed pick.
Although Wilson’s future with the Jets appeared to be quite bleak when the Jets and AR himself showed interest in themselves, the Jets’ head coach Robert Saleh expressed optimism about Zach’s future with the team at the end of 2022.

The Jets had to decide between signing Rodgers and adding Zach Wilson back to their roster. Now, only time will tell what the Jets ultimately have to do in order to assemble a potent roster.
