The game got even more exciting when former President Donald Trump made a surprise appearance, adding to the hype and thrilling the crowd.

Trump, who is from New York and is friends with Jets owner Woody Johnson, got to Acrisure Stadium in the middle of the first quarter. Fans greeted him with chants of “USA, USA” as he waved to the crowd, showing support for the home team.

The cameo didn’t go unnoticed on social media, where fans and commentators alike shared their reactions to the unexpected appearance during the Jets vs Steelers game. A few hours before his appearance, Pittsburgh legend Jerome Bettis endorsed Kamala Harris, who also made her appearance.

During the third quarter, a woman wearing Steelers gear ran onto the field holding a pro-Trump sign. Police briefly stopped the game to remove the woman. Trump also gained support from former Steelers Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell.
