Joe Burrow’s rumored girlfriend Olivia Dunne named highest-Paid NCAA Female Athlete “making seven figures a year” wanting to help other female students

Olivia Dunne, the rumored girlfriend of NFL star Joe Burrow, has become the highest-paid NCAA female athlete, earning seven figures annually.

The All-American gymnast, who began training at age 3, had a massive following on social media from her years in the sport. By age 16, she had 100,000 Instagram followers, and her TikTok, filled with videos of her doing impressive flips, soared in views when the pandemic hit in 2020.

Dunne, now 20, earned a full scholarship to Louisiana State University, and when the NCAA agreed to the new Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) policy, it changed her life. She is now paving the way for young girls who look up to her, demonstrating that it is possible to do school, athletics, and social media all at the same time. Dunne plans to help other female students understand their marketability, including those outside of athletics who can also take advantage of the NIL policy.

Gymnastics is a sport in which athletes peak when they are about 15 years old. After college, there are few professional opportunities for gymnasts, particularly women. With the new NIL policy, Dunne is determined to show that female athletes, including gymnasts, can capitalize on their marketability and create their own businesses.

How Much will Olivia Dunne be Earning?

Dunne will reportedly earn seven figures annually. Dunne’s goal is to change the fact that she is only one of two women among the top 10 highest earners in the NCAA, along with fellow gymnast Sunisa Lee. “Opportunities for men and women in NCAA sports should be equal. But a lot of the NIL collectives only go to men’s athletics,” Dunne said.

Dunne’s incredible success proves that women can achieve anything they set their minds to. She is grateful for the opportunities the NIL policy has given her and wants to help other female students achieve the same level of success. 

While there is still work to be done to ensure equal opportunities for men and women in NCAA sports, Dunne is leading the way for the next generation of female athletes and entrepreneurs.
