John also expressed his anger toward Usyk saying that he’s a nobody who’s trying to kill two birds with one stone and turn the public against Tyson. According to the former boxer the Ukrainian side has which done a good job of turning the public against Tyson.
Hence the 59-year-old promoter has demanded a public apology video from Usyk saying, “Unless he gets on the video and tells the truth of what he did. There’ll never be a fight for Usyk. Tyson will iron him out and everybody in the game knows it.”

What happened to Oleksandr Usyk vs Tyson Fury fight?
The mega-fight between “The Cat” and “The Gipsy King,” which was originally slated for April 29, has been postponed due to a variety of technical difficulties. In the meantime, the managers of the two heavyweights are exchanging insults in an effort to ignite the flames.
Usyk made a last-minute offer to make the fight happen, but only if he was given a 70–30 split. On this matter, the two parties were still unable to come to an agreement. Even the fight’s venue was altered from Saudi Arabia to Wembley Stadium in London.
Now, the Ukrainian heavyweight and Daniel Dubois are expected to square off in a mandatory title defense fight this summer. Fury is also desperately trying to book a fight for this summer amid a potential fight in negotiation with Jon Jones.
