Clubs like Liverpool, Real Madrid, Manchester City are now focusing for the summer transfer window of 2023 on acquiring Jude Bellingham as Tchouameni, Valverde, Vinicius are just some of the young players that Los Blancos have signed in recent years and these signings reflect a shift in the Real’s strategy, which is to acquire young talent with the intention of cultivating it over time.
Some surprising statement was made by the manager of Liverpool back in the summer, when rumors were circulating that the club was seriously considering making a bid to acquire Bellingham as part of an overhaul of their midfield that would undoubtedly take place over the course of the next several years or even more.
On the other hand, Bellingham has been on Real Madrid’s radar even before he signed with Borussia Dortmund in 2019 and in 2022, when it was still unclear if Tchouameni would sign with the club, the club authority first reached out to this English player but the deal did not see the light eventually.
In spite of the fact that Los Blancos was ultimately successful in completing the sale of Tchouameni, the club also requested the English player and his agents not to extend his contract with Dortmund for more years.
Bellingham has refused to cave to pressure and sign a new contract, but he is considering alternative possibilities in the meanwhile and then comes Jurgen Klopp, the coach of Liverpool, who has made a very attractive offer to get the youngster to Anfield from Signal Iduna Park.
Even some English media also supported Klopp’s intention by asserting, “The Merseyside giants could attempt to thrash out a swap deal that would see the two midfielders moving in opposite directions.”
Speculations also showing us that Bayern Munich wants £83m for Jude Bellingham, but Liverpool might decrease this to £50m by including Naby Keita on a potential swap deal.
