Just over a week ago, Antonio Silva, a highly well-known personality in combat sports for almost two decades, made the decision to retire from mixed martial arts. However, in a recent post Silva indicated a comeback to take revenge.
Since leaving the UFC, Bigfoot hasn’t had a pleasant experience. The veteran fighter experimented with boxing, kickboxing, and bare-knuckle boxing in his search for a win but was never successful.

Fans of Bigfoot weren’t shocked to hear that Antonio was coming out of retirement. This is not the first time the seasoned fighter had come out of retirement.

Silva expressed his desire to make a comeback through an Instagram post captioning, “Let’s do a rematch Kingdom Fighting, Giom Peltier. I’m ready and I’m coming back from retirement to fight again because I know I didn’t lose.”
Bigfoot’s lengthy combat career has come to an end, as various sources have reported earlier in December. Former coach Alex Davis also suggested Bigfoot to put his gloves away. The 43-year-old fighter appears to be preparing to make a comeback once more, though.

Antonio ‘Bigfoot’ Silva retired after 11th-straight MMA defeat
Silva certainly didn’t anticipate his career, which had its ups and downs, to come to an end this way when he hung up his gloves following 11 consecutive defeats. In addition to mixed martial arts (MMA), Silva has also participated in boxing, kickboxing, and bare-knuckle boxing.
The Brazilian fighter initially signed up with UFC in 2012, and over the course of the following four years, he went on to win three bouts before being released from the organization in 2016. Nevertheless, Antonio afterward negotiated deals with various other MMA promotions.

Fans of MMA would have felt happy just to see Bigfoot escape another embarrassing defeat in the ring. Many are thinking it is preferable that he focus on coaching or other promotional activities while taking care of his health.
