Kamala Harris to Join Former NBA Stars On Special Podcast Episode

It’s not common for big political figures to appear on sports podcasts. While they do interviews on various channels, podcasts aren’t usually their go-to. That’s why it was a surprise when Kamala Harris, one of the biggest political figures, made a special appearance on the “All the Smoke” show, where the NBA is the regular discussion.

Semafor’s Max Tani writes that Kamala Harris, the 2024 Democratic presidential nominee, visited Wisconsin Public Radio and was interviewed on the “All the Smoke” podcast with former NBA players Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson.

In a Twitter statement, Max wrote, “More here: Kamala Harris recorded an appearance on the “All The Smoke” podcast today, I’m told. It’s one of the more well-known NBA pods, hosted by Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson, who both played on the “We Believe” Golden State Warriors at the time when Harris was SF DA.”

This is obviously big news, as it could provide insight into Harris’ views on key policies. The episode’s release date is still uncertain; however, it is likely to include both political and NBA-related subjects.

What is Kamala Harris supposed to talk about on the podcast?

Kamala Harris is expanding her media strategy to include non-traditional media outlets. By appearing on “All the Smoke,” she aims to engage with a broader audience, including sports fans and younger voters.

Voters should hear Kamala Harris’s thoughts on both important problems and fun ones, like “Who are the real contenders?” regarding the “We Believe” Warriors’ disappointment over the Mavericks and how that affected her view of Dirk Nowitzki’s legacy.

Fans will also like to know about her favorite NBA players and events.
