Khamzat Chimaev accuses Devin Haney of racism after American boxing star claims he likely to never lose to a “white boy”

Khamzat Chimaev recently responded to Devin Haney for one of his controversial comments. Khamzat felt that the comment was racist, and if a white person were to make a similar remark, it would cause turmoil.

‘Borz’ is preparing for his mega fight against Paulo Costa scheduled to take place on October 21st at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi on the UFC 294 card. Borz is making a return after a year, and thus, this fight has a lot of attention on it as well.

The Dream has been under a little fire recently as he expressed his views on a topic that is very controversial these days and rightfully so his views did stir up a lot of arguments.

Devin said that ‘He would never Lose to a white boy’, and Khamzat reacted to this saying that he felt Haney’s take was downright disrespectful and racist. Borz has now unfollowed Devin on his socials.

Borz further elaborated that if it was a white person making this comment then they would be heavily scrutinized and would be deemed a racist for sure. He further added that not a lot of backlash was given to Haney for his comments.

Khamzat has trying to remain out of controversies as the fighter was just under a lot of backlash after he moved from Sweden to UAE, as well as for going to represent UAE in the UFC.

Khamzat is going to making his return in the octagon after being inactive from the fight scene for nearly a year. Borz was put under fire before his last fight as he could not make weight, so fans are hoping to see him be more disciplined this time around.

Now the fighter is going to be making his return into the UFC in less than two weeks in a fight against Paulo Costa on the UFC 294 card at the Etihad arena in Dubai.
