Andrew Tate was taken into custody on December 29, and a week later, Romanian authorities seized a number of expensive automobiles and timepieces from his apartment.
The ex-kickboxer was accused of multiple crimes, including rape, human trafficking, money laundering, and organized crime. Romanian officials have been keeping a watchful eye on the king of toxic masculinity since April of last year due to concerns over his questionable online activity. As part of their investigation into the alleged rape and human trafficking, Romanian officials have taken Tate and his brother Tristan into custody.

Tate, a dual citizen of the United Kingdom and the United States, has been living in Bucharest for five years. Cars including a blue Rolls-Royce, a red Ferrari, a Porsche, a BMW, an Aston Martin, and a Mercedes-Benz were found in his garage and subsequently taken by the authorities. The authorities have stated that they have received cars and other expensive goods from Tate’s home that are valued at a total of 3.6 million euros ($5.2 million Cdn).
The controversial internet personality has an overwhelming desire for luxury cars. Even two days before he was brought into detention, he shared a picture of himself with a luxurious car, which sparked a quarrel between him and the Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg. The Romanian police force has made a seizure from his property, taking 15 expensive cars, 14 designer watches, and cash.

The self-described misogynist filed an appeal with the court a week ago, but the appeal was turned down by a court in Bucharest. Tate’s arrest has been prolonged, and he will now spend thirty days imprisoned, as indicated by information that was recently made public by a representative of the Romanian anti-organized crime organization DIICOT.
On December 29, Romanian local police took the notorious online personality into prison from his apartment in Bucharest.
